Hi, new here. Just picked up an 02 Sportsman 700 for $2900 with 270 hours on the clock. Couldn't find anything wrong with it except that the outer CV boots are all torn and it doesn't charge the battery. Seems to be pretty much stock except that it came with an extra set of tires and wheels in 27" which is what I put on it. The 25's it cam on were almost bald.

My first quad, just picked up a 2008 sportsman 500 ho efi with 230 miles on it, and already doubled the odometer
got both rack extensions, came with a heavy duty battery and block heater, front and rear brush guards, 2500 lb winch and a windsheild. just ordered the work light kit and a winch cover plate from polaris.
absolutely love this fourwheeler, i cant beleive i never owned one before!

 

Just got a 2011 Sportsman 550 EPS!! Cant' wait to take this out!

My 96s maiden voyage, ran pretty good but had a few issues I need to fix.
The second picture is the view from the top of Patrick mountain. Have made many a trips up here.

Couple of pics. of my new ride a 2012 500 H.O. bone stock! It's hard to believe the 500 is a mid-size economy ATV now , it used to be top dog! My last Polaris was a Sportsman 400 1st yr. they put the 425 engine in a Sportsman frame! Sold it got a Kawaski Prairie 650 4x4 , got stupid sold it and bought a Suzuki Z-400 quadsport and hated that thing , sold it in early 07 and haven't had a ATV since.

It took Three winches to get me out of that one, I would have never guessed it was that deep.....

My 2006 Sportsman 500 EFI Browning edition repained to Stealth Black. Also did a custom tint job on the top light. I'm considering blacking out the two headlights too.

 

Looks awesome, how did you do the tint?

 

I used a spray on tent I bought off Amazon. Amazon.com: VHT SP999 Nite-Shades Lens Cover Tint Translucent Black Paint Can - 10 oz.: Automotive

I also used it to tint my helmet visor. It works well. Just make sure you spray it on close, and not far away. I made the mistake of spraying the same way I do spray paint. This stuff you got to spray the can about 6 inches from the surface.

Plan on few tweaks like a front fairing and brush guards if I can find them.

All around quad from hauling stuff on the acreage, snow plowing, and just plain goofing off.

I need some newer pics, I got it the fall of 09 used with barely any miles or hours on it.

I like the fairing and mirrors. Where did you get them?

 

I got it from my atv dealer for $20 it was red and I painted it blue I believe its a quadrax? But I'm not sure

 

$20, wow. Im getting quoted $250 for one up here

 

I think the original price was $239 and my dealer was just trying to get rid of it so that's how I got it for $20

I also got my big gun exhaust brand new from my dealer for $115
