I'm not 100% sure but maybe the dealer did not program your new ride command module to the VIN number and your ECM

 

It has all of My ATV info on screen just like my garage on Polaris website.

 

I was getting the same message when trying to do WiFi updates on my 2023. It seems that a whole bunch of RC units shipped without the WiFi chips due to supply chain issues.

 

The RC accessory does not come with wifi. It uses usb and Bluetooth.

 

My RC quit working in July 2022 under warranty. I am still getting the run around from the dealer about supply chain.

Did you change to an RC display, or add an RC+ module?

 

Yes the display was replaced.

 

I guess I'm unclear as to what you are trying to log into. The software updates are transferred from your desktop computer to a USB then plugged into the RC to upload.

 

It ask me to log into my rd account with my email and password that I use on the Polaris app and says authentication fails.

 

That's because your RC display has no WiFi connection to your home network.

 

You have to connect to the headpod via bluetooth on your phone, make a hotspot with your phone, and allow wifi connection via bluetooth on your phone. I upgraded my 2023 450 headpod to the polaris ride command and had to do this to log in with my ride command credentials.
