How the hell does one put 10.5k on an ATV? I don't even put that many miles on my truck in a year! And the most miles one of my Sportsmans has is 1700!

 

You ride it for many years....that's how

 

You have to ride them. We've got a 2012 with 4000 miles on it and a 2011 with 6k. My 06 has 10k. They don't get many miles in the garage.

 

Some guys live on the trails, so to go home from work and take 2 hours to blow off some steam is easy, and runs up the miles. unlike me, where i have to trailer it for an hour or more to ride, i dont put many miles on it either. but im jealous of those who can!

How often do you change your oil, and do you 100% trail ride?

 

I change the engine oil every 50 hrs. tranny and front/rear gearcases every 100. Ride about 99% trails through the mountains. We only occasionally run road a mile or two here and there to get from one trail to the next.

 

Im lucky. I can leave my pastures. Head into the woods and ride just about any kind of terrain.

 

Around here the trail starts in the alley by the house. Hard to beat if you ask me.

Must be and the pretty labeled bottles help also. I would hate to know how much I would have spent if I went with POPO fluids.

I am Bob but I figure the last thing on your mind is oil since you have your Moab trip planned. You guys be safe and keep all 4 on the slick rock. You guys are so close to the Swell you really need to run out there for a day.

Thanks Ronnie. We don't have a specific trail scheduled for Saturday yet, so maybe we will throw the Swell into the conversation. I'm thinking it will be Steel Bender though. Wed. Thur. and Fri. are booked up solid.
